UPSTATE COLORADO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO HOLD ANNUAL DINNER MARCH 26

Upstate Colorado Economic Development will host its Annual Dinner on March 26, 2008 at the University of Northern Colorado Ballroom. This event has become one of the premier business/social gatherings in Weld County. Formerly a luncheon, it has been conducted during the evening in recent years to encourage broader participation.

2007 was a very significant year for economic development in Weld County—a year that saw significant investment in the area by international companies, and the announcement of more than 2,000 new primary jobs by Weld County employers. In recognition of the fact that Weld County’s economy is increasingly benefited and impacted by business around the world, the evening’s keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Jim Reis, President of the World Trade Center, Denver.

The event will begin with a social hour at 6:00, followed dinner and program at 7:00. Cost is $40 for Upstate Investor/Partners, and $50 for others. Call the Upstate office at (970) 356-4565 for reservations and menu choices.
