Manufacturing activity has held a strong presence throughout Weld County’s history. Today, Weld’s manufactures are involved with the production of everything from standard durable equipment to the development of new products and technologies—including nanotechnology, advanced optics and renewables.

Manufacturing employment in Weld County grew by 0.2% during 2006. Manufacturing wages increased by 4.05% in 2005, the most current year for which data is available.
